Connecticut Spring and Stamping has been a leading international manufacturer of custom springs, progressive stampings, fine blanked stampings, machined components, and assemblies for over 80 years. As a family-owned business, this owner strived to continue the legacy by making the decision to expand and add on to their current 120,000 SF facility. With the design and construction efforts of Claris, a 50,000 SF manufacturing building was seamlessly attached to the pre-existing building. This new space allows for more machinery, organization, productivity, and growth. A unique feature added was a ceiling-high mobile crane which aids in the overall workflow. Working with “Made in CT” companies is always a satisfying experience for Claris, and the finished project has left CSS poised for growth for the next 5 to 10 years.
